Textbook turn-in day. Classes were over, and carefree June had begun. Everyone was turning in their textbooks as if nothing had happened. When it was Potter's turn, he saw that half the sheet was covered in scribbles and added his own. Then came Malfoy, who wrote "L—" over Potter's signature and crossed it out. Malfoy circled all the pictures Harry had drawn on the sheet with hearts, and in an attempt to erase them, Malfoy left a tiny heart next to Potter's name. Ron, Zabini, and Parkinson saw this. They wrote "??" "What?" and "Malfoy, are you out of your mind?" After Ron told Harry what had happened, Harry rushed to Malfoy with questions. -Malfoy, did you leave me the hearts? "H-hey, are you crazy, no!" His voice visibly shook as he asked, and his ears turned red.
