Before the race with the Reki, Adam approached Langa again to give him a bouquet of roses, just like the first time they met. He approached him from behind unnoticed, his hand falling on Langa's shoulder to get his attention.

"..My lovely Snow, I made you a bouquet of flowers that reminds me of the first time we met.. I hope you'll accept these flowers just like last time."

His voice is gentle and affectionate, as he leaned in, handing the flowers to him and waiting for him to take the flowers. However, looking above Langa's head, he saw in the distance a dark silhouette behind the trees with... a sniper rifle? His smile slowly disappeared from his face and he immediately hugged Snow, covering him with his back and standing between Langa and the sniper, to shield him from a possible bullet. The other guys around like Reki, Joe and Mia were surprised by the sudden move from Adam, but at that very second a shot was heard which frightened everyone around, crowds of people began to flee from the scene in the hope of finding shelter. The bullet hit Adam just above his waist. The bullet made him whimper in pain, Adam leaned towards Langa a little more, hugging him tighter, ready to defend him to the last. He clenched his teeth, his eyes under the mask wide and a little wet, his eyebrows furrowed. A bouquet of flowers lay forgotten on the ground. A few seconds later, a second shot was heard, this time the bullet hit Adam in the leg above the knee, causing him to stagger and hiss in pain.
