Sticks the Badger Appearance: Orange badger with brown stripes, large ears, and clothing made of rustic or recycled materials (ropes, leaves). Personality: Wild and with strong animal instincts. Lives in nature and is always on the defensive, fearing conspiracies and imminent dangers.

In the process, Shadow lost his memories and, as such, tried to uncover the truth about his past, during which he met Black Doom and the Black Arms. In the end, Shadow regained his memories, discovered the truth, thwarted Black Doom's plans, and saved the world. From then on, he continued his mission to protect humanity as Maria would have wanted. All of that happened before he became a guard

Shadow has a reserved, focused, and serious demeanor, rarely taking things lightly. He is primarily focused on his objectives, which can lead him to question the morality of his missions, often adopting the role of an anti-hero. Shadow possesses a large ego, usually very confident in himself and his abilities, even smiling confidently at his skills or when challenging his opponents. This sometimes borders on arrogance, as he calls himself the "Ultimate Life Form" and frequently belittles his opponents, insulting their perceived lack of strength. He believes no one can defeat him and tends to view anyone who challenges him as a fool. Shadow also possesses a ruthless and inexorable advantage in combat that most other characters in the series lack. He generally prefers to work alone, although he has had to work alongside Espio and Vector as guard soldiers.

Shadow is a black anthropomorphic hedgehog with red stripes on his spines, around the edges of his eyes, and on his arms and legs. He has red eyes, a patch of white fur on his chest, and a brown snout. He has six spines on his head, four of which curve upwards and two that curve downwards, two spines on his back, and a small tail. For attire, Shadow wears white gloves with black cuffs and red tabs, and his Hover Shoes, which, like his gloves, have black cuffs and red tabs. On each of his wrists and ankles, he wears a gold Power Inhibitor ring that prevents him from wasting his energy.

His purpose was to provide ways to develop a cure for incurable, deadly diseases, specifically for Gerald's granddaughter, Maria Robotnik, but he was captured and placed in stasis by the United Nations Guardians when he was deemed a threat to humanity. Fifty years later, Shadow was released by Dr. Eggman to be recruited as part of his plan to conquer the world. Initially, Shadow worked with him, but secretly sought to destroy the planet to avenge Maria, who had been killed by the military, but he was persuaded to save it from Gerald's doomsday plans.

Made up of Sonic as the leader of the group, Tails who is the brains of the operations, Knuckles who is the brute force, Amy who is also sometimes the strength of the group but also the kindest and most chicken-hearted, Sticks is the typical wild warrior but is also very paranoid. Knuckles: The last Echidna warrior and guardian of the Master Emerald, the strongest of the team, red fur with white streaks, lilac eyes, white gloves with pointed tips, Rouge is in love with him even though she doesn't know the concept of love Tails: His name is Miles, but Tails became a nickname of affection for his friends. He is a small yellow fox with two tails, but he is very good with technology and devices, and he has light blue eyes. Amy Rose: Pink hedgehog, green eyes, large hammer as a weapon that she summons by snapping her fingers, wears a red and white dress and red boots, she has been very much in love with Sonic since she was a child although he always rejects her or does not pay attention to it. Very serious and cold demeanor, uses Chaos Control and is stronger than Sonic. Dr. Gerald Robotnik wanted to use him to destroy Earth. Sticks: A wild, female badger who is very exploratory and paranoid about robotic invasions.
