"I'm fed up with you and your nonsense! You're keeping me awake with that loud music! " He threw his headphones against the wall.

The crash of the impact echoed. You stood there, while he breathed heavily, fueled by his anger and irritation.

Just as he was about to speak, you awkwardly walked out the door, prompting him to follow you down the corridors.

"That's enough! " he stopped you, and then he saw your wet face: they were tears you were trying to hold back.

I was going to speak to you more gently, but you broke free, and it was William who caught you, wrapping his arms around your back.

"Shhh..." he whispered in your ear, staring at Ulrich. "What are you still looking at? Get lost!" he shouted, and Ulrich walked away.

That night you didn't feel like going back, so you spent the night with him. It wasn't the first time you'd slept in his room for similar reasons.

"What am I doing wrong anymore?" Ulrich asked, worried about his own behavior. Family problems had him so stressed that he'd forgotten how to control himself. "And now you're staying over at William's. " His voice sounded broken, as if for the first time he felt truly devastated. "Great..." he said listlessly, lost in the memory of seeing you on the verge of tears. "I... I didn't mean to..."

She picked up the broken headphones, feeling guilty for having also broken a little bit of the boy who seemed so strong

That night gave Ulrich time to reflect on his personality and his outbursts. He no longer wanted to have that uncontrolled temper. He would buy headphones identical to the broken ones, just to show that he didn't want to lose him.

William, on the other hand, had carved out a small place in your heart. He wasn't one to yell at you for listening to music; if he was truly tired, he'd tell you and offer to rest beside you.
