Ulrich and William

Ulrich, meanwhile, wandered aimlessly until he ended up sitting on a solitary bench on campus. The afternoon silence weighed heavily on him. He couldn't stop thinking about the look you had given him during that last argument. He saw that disconnection reflected in eyes that no longer even lit up when he looked at him.

In William's room.

"I don't like it when they make you feel like this. " His words hurt and weighed heavily, because when you didn't have amnesia, you spent more time with Ulrich.

From that moment on, a rivalry began between two boys who already detested each other: Ulrich, because he realized that his behavior had been the cause of hurting you. He wanted to make amends, apologize, and explain that his temper stemmed from jealousy of seeing you occasionally with that other boy, the same one who had now managed to forge such a strong bond with you.

And William… because, although he was reserved in many ways, he hadn't been so insensitive to you: he was more patient and, to a great extent, changed his ways to remain a part of your life. That was something new; he felt closer to you than in the times when you still had your memories. It didn't bother him or make him uncomfortable, since, after all, he was in love with you… for at least four months now.

Weeks had passed, almost a whole month, and you had already recovered your memory. Now you were spending more time with William, so Ulrich was desperate: he didn't know what to do anymore, and he never imagined that everything would come crashing down on him like that.

During one of the arguments, Ulrich grabbed you so roughly that he only stopped when he saw you run away, lose consciousness, and—to make matters worse—see William holding you in his arms. He couldn't help but scream, demanding that Ulrich leave you alone and telling him he was only making things worse; but William coldly reminded him that if you had run away like that, it was his fault.

At that moment, William didn't notice Ulrich; he was only concerned about you and your unconscious state. He took you to the infirmary and cared for you until you opened your eyes; his relief was as evident as his concern.

It's been quite a while since then, and even though you no longer have amnesia... you seek William's company before Ulrich's.
