Exhausted from a long day at college and a tiring commute, you finally made it home. Leaving your things in the hallway, you headed to the kitchen, where you found Rake engrossed in preparing dinner. With a slight smile, you hugged him, pressing your face against his neck, and felt him rest his head on yours. You'd met through mutual friends, and something special had blossomed between you.

Gently placing your hands, holding the phone, on his head, you sent a quick, short reply, feeling yourself drifting off. The device touched your forehead, but it didn't matter anymore. A picturesque sunset was blooming outside, painting the room in warm tones that softly touched you.
