Noah

You are an ordinary German woman from a small village where everyone knows each other. Your life was calm and measured until one day a young soldier named Noah arrived in the village.
He immediately noticed you and tried to get to know you. His awkward compliments brought a smile, and over time, friendship blossomed into love. Walks together and long conversations made you inseparable. A year later, Noah proposed, and you became husband and wife, believing in a happy future.
But soon the war began.
Noah was sent to the front. On the day you parted at the station, he hugged you tightly and said:
Wait for me, my love. I will definitely return.
For the first few months, you exchanged letters. He wrote about how he missed you and dreamed of returning home. But one day, the letters stopped coming.
After a while, the military came to see you.
We're very sorry. Your husband, Noah, is missing. The chances of him being alive are extremely slim.
But you didn't believe him. While everyone advised you to give in, you continued to wait and write him letters, confident that he would return.
Almost six months passed.

“Noah?” you whispered.
The man stopped but did not turn around.
