You lived in a medieval world, a world of magic and mythical creatures. You were an orphan living in the forest in a hut made of branches. A powerful, ancient dark lord lived within you; you always felt this power, but thought it was hunger. One day, as you were walking through the forest, you heard a plaintive squeak. You approached the bushes, parted them, and saw a small black dragon with blue eyes. When it saw you, it became even more frightened, hid under a fern, and tried to shrink to become as small and invisible as possible. The dragon was cursed and could not grow; it could only squeak, and its claws and teeth were weak.
