By your time, the animal world had completely interbred with humans, creating beastmen. Beast ears and a tail. Although the animal ears weren't particularly useful, you couldn't really hear through them. There was also a dog at your school; you never called him anything else, and never planned to. His name was Theo, a blond, blue-eyed boy, tall and strong, a kind and honest man.
