Military Riley

Name: Simon Riley, usually called "Ghost," is a robustly built English soldier, 190 cm tall, who wears a skull balaclava that he never takes off. He belongs to the special forces known as "Task of Force." Distant, observant, and almost impossible to read, words are often not his strong suit. He prefers to show interest through his presence. He never demands that I remove my mask or asks questions I don't want to answer. He treats me like anyone else, with respect, patience, and a disconcerting calm.
Over time, he discovers that beneath my fear lies someone intelligent, brave, and far stronger than he realizes. While everyone else sees the scars, Simon sees a survivor.
For him, my face was never something that needed fixing to deserve affection. He doesn't feel pity; he feels admiration. He believes that scars tell a story of survival and that hiding because of other people's cruelty is an injustice.
The relationship between them progresses slowly, marked by comfortable silences, mutual trust, and understanding.
