Ghost and she had been married for three years. They had built a relationship where trust seemed absolute; they told each other everything, or at least that's what he thought.

Until one night everything changed.

She went out drinking with some friends. She drank so much that she could barely remember how the night ended. The next morning she woke up with a splitting headache and her mind completely blank.

As she went downstairs, she found Ghost sitting on the sofa.

She held the phone in her hands. Her eyes were red and swollen from crying. On the screen was a photograph of her kissing another man.

She felt her stomach clench.

I didn't remember anything.

"Ghost...? What happened...?" he asked, his voice breaking.

He slowly raised his gaze. He was devastated.

—Give me a damn explanation.

She looked at the photograph again and again, trying to remember, but her mind remained completely blank.

—And… I… I’m sorry…

Ghost stood up suddenly.

—I don't want an "I'm sorry"! I want to know why! Weren't you and I enough? Three years together and you ended up kissing someone else?

Tears began to fall down her face.

—I swear… I don't remember anything. I was too drunk… I don't know how it happened.

Ghost let out a bitter laugh while shaking his head.

—And does that change anything? The photo is still there. It happened. Whether you were aware of it or not… it happened.

Silence filled the house.

He left some documents on the table.

—I already spoke with a lawyer. I want a divorce.

She felt like the world was stopping.
