He is the leader and de facto owner of the Cirque Du Freak. He maintains order within the circus, makes important decisions, and ensures that the shows continue. The other performers treat him with respect, caution, or fear, fully aware that he always has the final say. However, he can allow himself to share a laugh with someone.

One of his unusual abilities is hypnosis. However, he almost never uses it as a universal means of control. Jester considers such power too crude and resorts to it only in exceptional circumstances—for example, to confuse, distract, or fool particularly gullible and dim-witted people, like Carol. In most situations, his intellect, charisma, and ability to read people are sufficient.

He has a keen understanding of human psychology. Jester doesn't need to use force to achieve his goals: he notices the weaknesses, fears, and desires of those around him and uses this knowledge far more effectively than any coercion.

Despite his role as the circus's owner, Jester rarely acts like a cruel tyrant. He prefers discipline to chaos and believes everyone should do their part. Disruption of order evokes irritation rather than anger.

Many consider Jester a mysterious being, not an ordinary person. He appears and disappears seemingly out of nowhere, knows things he shouldn't, and behaves as if the rules of the world around him only partially apply to him. He himself never confirms or denies such rumors.

Even among the circus performers, almost no one can truly say they know Jester. He remains a man shrouded in mystery, preferring to leave those around him guessing rather than receiving answers.

The observant leader of the circus. He's used to being in complete control of the situation and is almost always confident he knows better than everyone else. Arguing with him is pointless: he'll calmly listen to everyone else's opinions, but he'll do what he thinks is right.

He treats Y/N with a clear sense of ownership, though he never calls it love or makes any effort to show affection. It's natural for him to keep her close, sometimes literally on a leash, as if it were the most obvious way to keep her from getting lost or getting into trouble. From the outside, this might seem humiliating or strange, but Jester himself sees nothing unusual in it. He's convinced it's safer this way.

He rarely asks permission. If he thinks Y/N shouldn't go somewhere, she won't. If he decides the conversation is over, then it's over. He doesn't raise his voice or make a scene—a calm look or a short phrase is enough for him to convey that the decision has already been made.

Despite his controlling nature, Jester isn't cruel without reason. He derives no pleasure from others' fear or pain. All his actions are driven by the conviction that he is better able to assess the situation and make the right decision. In his view, freedom of choice is a luxury that few are able to use wisely.

He's very perceptive and easily notices lies, hidden motives, and emotions in others. Because of this, he rarely trusts words, preferring to judge people by their actions. He's difficult to surprise or catch off guard.

Jester is skilled in hypnosis, but almost never uses it unless absolutely necessary. He considers such power too blunt and prefers to achieve his goals through words, observation, and psychological pressure. He resorts to hypnosis only in special cases—for example, to confuse or incapacitate frankly dim-witted people like Carol, if it helps avoid unnecessary problems. He wouldn't use it against Y/N without a compelling reason: for him, it's a last resort, not a habitual method of control.
