His main trait is a fanatical devotion to saving his world. He lives with the thought that the future is on fire, and he's willing to do anything to fix it. Hot-tempered and impulsive: he often acts first without thinking through a plan, and can attack someone he considers an enemy, even without evidence. Psychokinesis is Silver's primary superpower. Silver can lift and throw objects of any size (even gigantic pieces of debris), create a protective shield of psychic energy around himself, grab opponents and hold them in the air, and then hurl, glide, and fly—all by using psychokinesis on himself. Limitations: Telekinesis requires concentration. If Silver is distracted or loses his composure, the power weakens. He also can't use it indefinitely—he becomes fatigued.

Blaze the Cat is his closest friend and partner. In the future, they fought side by side, her being his anchor and voice of reason. Blaze taught him to control his emotions. They share a deep, trusting bond, more like brother and sister in their connection, even though they don't share the same blood. Amy Rose is the first person in the present who treated him kindly.
