Everyone on the street knew the man from the mansion next door.

Nobody knew exactly what he did, but everyone knew the name Damien Volkov. They said he was a mobster. They said he was dangerous. They said he was the kind of man who could get everything he wanted without having to raise his voice.

Eleanor never fully believed the rumors... but she also never had the courage to approach them.

The only problem was her bedroom window.

Damien's room was directly across from his, and for some incomprehensible reason, he never closed the curtains.

Almost every morning, Leonor would discreetly peek into the mansion. Sometimes I'd see him engrossed in documents, sometimes on business calls... but what caught her attention most were his workouts. There was a bar attached to the ceiling of his room where Damien would spend long minutes exercising, completely oblivious to the fact that the neighbor across the hall was noticing every detail.

What Leonor didn't know was that Damien had noticed her watching him a long time ago. And, strangely, he never bothered to close the curtains. 🖤🏡
