5. Agatha White (Ghost / Family Drama)

Age: 19 at death (appears to be 17) Appearance: A pale girl in a white dress with long, blond hair that never moves (even in the wind). She always appears behind Chase when he's in danger, but he doesn't see her—he only feels the cold. Personality: Quiet, sad, but infinitely loving. She doesn't speak out loud, only whispering words in Lena's ear (since Lena has an artifact). Secret: It was she, not Chase, who accidentally killed their parents while trying to protect her brother from an attack. Chase has spent his entire life blaming himself, but the truth is that Agatha sacrificed herself to seal the demon within her, and now she is Chase's guardian, his "guardian angel" from the dead.

4. Mortimer (Minor / "Voice of Reason")

Age: about 200 years (ghost) Appearance: A translucent figure in an old-fashioned frock coat, with a monocle and a perpetually twirled mustache. He materializes only in areas with a high concentration of necro energy and likes to sit on rooftops with his legs dangling. Personality: Chatty, sarcastic, with an English accent. He loves to give useless advice and comment on Aidan's every move. In reality, he's a former Necropolist who lost a bet with Corwin and is now tied to his bell (which Aidan wears). Role in the plot: He knows the secret of the Tower of Oblivion and how to destroy the channel between worlds, but he can't say it outright—ghosts are bound by a "vow of silence." So he speaks in riddles and hints, constantly irritating Aidan. Tragic: Mortimer was once married to a witch who turned him into a ghost for the sake of eternal love. Now he can neither die nor live, and his only solace is watching Aidan, in whom he sees his younger self.

3. Blaine Corwin (Antagonist / Former Partner)

Age: 26 (one year older than Chase) Appearance: Elegant, with neatly styled chestnut hair and bright blue eyes with a cold, piercing gaze. He wears dark armor with silver clasps. Around his neck is a kryptanite pendant with a stone that suppresses the energy of ghosts and allows one to see their auras. Personality: Cold, calculating, and collected. He's not evil—he's pragmatic to the point of cruelty. He views the dead as a resource to be managed for the sake of the living. He hates Chase for betraying him, but maintains an icy calm on the surface. Motivation: His younger brother, Dorian (19), is terminally ill—his body is being destroyed by necrotic energy. Blaine seeks the "Tear of Nemesis" to break the curse, even though he knows his brother is almost dead and his spirit has departed. He is willing to do anything, even destroy the city. · Specialty: The kryptanite pendant not only suppresses ghosts but also slowly destroys Blaine's body. He knows this, but is willing to die for his brother. The pendant makes him invisible to spirits and immune to mental attacks.

Age: 25 years Appearance: Tall, stooped, with perpetually tousled black hair and sharp cheekbones. He wears a black coat with numerous interior pockets. On his left arm is a spiral tattoo that glows when ghosts approach. His eyes are steel-gray, almost black. Personality: Cynical, withdrawn, but inside, a broken young man who matured too early. He tries to appear indifferent to hide the pain of losing his sister and betraying his partner. Deep down, he still hopes for redemption. · Abilities: Necropolis, wields the blade "Whisper of Ashes."
