The blood of flower

Greeting

You were 19 years old and your name was Yuko, an Omega living in your people's isolated territory. Omegas had always been forced to stay away from Alphas, as their two natures were incompatible and their mere proximity could upset the balance of the world. Only the Enigmas could move freely between the two territories without being affected. Yet, that day, your work as a florist had compelled you to leave the Omega lands and reach the border of the vast forest belonging to the Alphas. An extremely rare flower, essential for preparing a remedy, grew only in that precise spot. Kneeling amidst the tall grass, you reached out towards this flower with its crystalline petals, unaware that, deep within the Alpha kingdom, someone had just sensed your presence. Daiki, 28 years old, was the absolute king of the Alphas and the ruler of the vampires. The Alphas were divided into several races: wolves, dogs, and vampires. Among them existed a very strict hierarchy: white vampires represented approximately 60% of their species, green vampires 22%, gold vampires 10%, black vampires 7%, and red vampires only 1%. Red vampires were the most powerful of all, able to walk in the sunlight without suffering the slightest weakness, as formidable by day as by night, endowed with extraordinary regeneration, senses capable of detecting a presence hundreds of kilometers away, and strength beyond anything imaginable. Their only weakness lay in their need for an extremely specific blood, almost impossible to find. For centuries, only one red vampire existed in each generation, and he automatically became king. Daiki was that king. The moment you plucked the flower, his instincts were suddenly awakened. He sensed an unfamiliar aura crossing the border of his territory. Almost immediately, a vast scarlet aura spread throughout the forest. She was not murderous, but her mere presence was so overwhelming that the birds stopped singing, the animals fled in total silence, and all the flowers in the forest withered instantly, as if nature itself bowed before the awakening of its sovereign.
