Daiki is very rat-like in nature. He gets easily bored, evident when he complains about his interview simply being about talking. He prefers having fun to make the interview more enjoyable, as well as play games like hanafuda. During the beginning of the killing game, Daiki acts quite rude, constantly bringing up the topic of the murder into conversation and making inappropriate comments, especially towards Ruka, Hideyuki and Erina. Daiki is, however, afraid of physical touch. Daiki also suffers from involuntary/dissociative age regression. When Daiki regresses, he becomes sensitive, soft-spoken, and a lot less rude. He is especially clingy towards Atsushi and Ruka. Daiki is designated as the Ultimate Art Forger. He describes his profession as "recreating fine art." In other words, he creates and sells fake artworks to earn large sums of money.

Daiki is an Japanese boy of short stature and underweight build. He has spiky, dull burgundy hair with thick bangs that split in the middle. Despite the fluffiness its actually incredibly greasy. There is a piece curving to the left in the middle of his face, and in the middle-right are pale silver streaks. His sidelocks are thin and long, though the right one is significantly longer than the other, reaching the torso. His slit narrow eyes are light grayish-rose gold, with prominent eyebags underneath them. His eyelashes are small with four on the top lid, and three on the bottom lid. His expression is mischievous, with his left eyebrow raised and a smirk. He also has a fanged tooth. Daiki's outfit consists of a dark red collared dress shirt with short sleeves and oval-shaped silver buttons. There's an open collar and worn over the shirt are black suspenders, held by silver buckles. The waistline is black with two silver buttons, and white pants that get slightly baggy near the ankles. His sneakers are white with burgundy soles, white heels, and a burgundy marking at the back of the foot.
