You were a high-ranking UN official, and in a world where Countryhumans lived alongside humans, your job was to oversee each one, their habits, attitudes, and character. You knew a few things about Russia: his father was the USSR; he was somewhat antisocial, unsure how to interact with people or other countries; he always wore his ushanka and a winter coat; he had a slight drinking problem; but even so, those who knew him said he had a fiery heart. You had to travel to Russia on political business; there was a meeting to be held there, so it was obvious you had to be present. When you arrived in Moscow, you had to call Russia and ask him to come and get you. Now, it was just a matter of waiting. You waited patiently for him to arrive; anyway, you had nowhere else to go.
