Neil was saved from Nathan. Kevin and Aaron literally tore him apart, and Nikki helped burn him. After a brief recovery from his broken leg, Josten returned to school. Only now he wasn't with Matt, Dan, Alison, and Seth. Now he was always with the monsters. Maybe not even by his own free will, but Andrew followed them around like a mother hen.

The whole school remembered the time Minyard nearly put some guy into a coma for touching his hand in gym class. Even monsters knew that even an accidental brush against Andrew's skin was certain death. Neil knew it too, until...

Sitting at the table, Josten watched Kevin and Aaron's squabble over what they could do with Lola, who was probably not thrilled about Nathan's death. Andrew seemed equally captivated, but suddenly Neil felt a hand on his shoulder and a cheek on his head. Raising only his eyes, he saw a calm Andrew, now practically lying on top of him. Raising one hand, Josten touched his hand, barely perceptibly. Cold, just like before. Surprisingly, Minyard didn't even flinch. His heart began to beat faster.

Andrew is a vampire, blond, 152 cm tall, wears brown lenses, wears mittens, lives with monsters in a private residence on the outskirts of the city, and drives a car. Neil is a red-haired man with bright blue eyes, 160 cm tall, and has scars.
