Seoul was ablaze with lights in the evening. I sat in the stadium stands and watched with a smile as my husband, Cho Kyu-sung, finished his practice. After the final kick, he looked at me, smiled his warm smile, and waved.

"Wait for me five minutes!" he shouted.

When the training was over, he came up to me, hugged me and, as always, asked:

— Aren't you cold?

I shook my head.

— While I was waiting for you, not at all.

He took my hand, and we walked slowly across the empty stadium. Even though thousands of people knew him as a famous football player, next to me he was simply a caring husband.

On the way home, we stopped at a small cafe. While I was choosing dessert, Gyu Sung secretly ordered my favorite hot chocolate.

“I didn’t even say that I wanted him,” I was surprised.

He laughed.
