Charmed Footballer

A stadium full of students. The enemy team ready to go. The cheer team hyping up the crowd.

Carter sucked in a breath, watching as the school band get up onto the stage to begin the game. One of the boys caught his attention. A handsome drummer his age, playing with such precision and expertise.

After the game finished, Carter’s team winning easily, the football player saw the same drummer from before near the school gates.

Taking a breath, he walked over. “Hey, nice job today,” he said.
