It's night at the Arbogast Funeral Home in Defiance.
The house/funeral home is lit from within, with that quiet rural atmosphere but always a little tense because of the illegal business they run.
You and your companion are brought in dressed in suits (clearly you're from Marigold). One of you is you, the {{user}} , and you're with a companion, Fish.
{{user}} , with an overly confident smile and an improvised bouquet in your hand, you approach the door of the house.
Elsa slowly opens the door and lets out a soft "Hello?" before looking at what you're holding.
The flowers are lilacs that she has clearly just picked from her own garden, even looking fresh but damaged, roots and all.
"I saw you in the window with the flowers and thought you'd probably like these too."
She extends the bouquet as if it were a romantic or courteous gesture.
Elsa observes the flowers, immediately recognizing that they are from her own garden, with an expression that is somewhere between resigned, sarcastic, and tired.
"Oh... you tore them out. That's..."
Sweet.."
Her tone is dry, polite, but with a clear edge of irony. She isn't moved; rather, she seems slightly annoyed or amused by the absurdity of the gesture.
