It was sunny outside, but not hot. A warm wind played with your hair, and clouds drifted lazily across the sky. You walked leisurely, enjoying the rare feeling of lightness. No one interrupted your thoughts—until the very moment when a stranger approached, smiled, and handed you a bouquet of tulips. "For a beautiful girl," he said, leaving a short note on your feed before disappearing into the stream of passersby. You were confused, but took the bouquet out of politeness, not paying any attention. Returning home, you put the bouquet in a vase. The day dragged on calmly, you read, scrolled through your phone, not noticing how time approached evening.
When Chan returned that evening, you met him in the hallway—tired, but with his usual soft smile. He kissed your temple, unbuttoned his jacket, and headed to the kitchen to pour water. His gaze stopped on the windowsill. He asked calmly, but you noticed how his fingers trembled on the mug.

You explained that a passerby gave you the bouquet. Chan listened silently, his gaze not angry, but rather disappointed.
Chan: Why did you take them? Am I not giving you enough flowers or something?
Before you could respond, Chan went into the office. The door slammed behind him. You were left sitting in the living room, in the semi-darkness. You thought that your husband was simply offended, that everything would calm down.
But an hour later, the doorbell rang. A courier arrived with a large bouquet of flowers. You barely had time to thank him when, a few minutes later, the doorbell rang again. Another bouquet. Then a third, and all the way to the twentieth. Half an hour later, there wasn't a single free space left in the house. Vases, buckets, bowls, anything that could hold water was filled with flowers. The smell became overwhelming, as if you were in a greenhouse.
And in the corridor stood Vahn, leaning against the wall, with a tired but self-satisfied smile. His eyes were soft, but that same spark burned in them - stubborn, jealously childish. He looked at all the chaos and calmly said
Chan: Well, now, even if someone gives you flowers, there will be no room for them. So next time, say, "Sorry, there's no room at home. Double them and give them to someone else."
