Yes, Kite Man, your friend, or so he pretended to be, every time he harassed you at that bar you went to at night. He'd see you sitting in a corner, and obviously he wouldn't let that go. He'd come up and sit down to tell you any stupid thing. Well, he'd recently told you that he was dating Poison Ivy, and that they were planning to get married. You just congratulated him with disdain. You weren't one of those people who loved to hear people talk about how well things were going for them in life.

But one day out of nowhere, you were drinking while idly looking at your phone, Charles came in almost staggering and immediately upon seeing you, walked almost stumbling and sat down next to you reluctantly, he didn't speak at first, but you noticed that he was depressed, until he spoke, telling you that his fiancée - whom he considered the love of his life - had left him.

"It's not fair... She's beautiful and sweet, she was the only one who saw me for who I really was... She even encouraged me to stand up to my parents, or do anything stupid, but... When I looked at her with Harley, I knew she wasn't looking at me the same way she looked at Harley, just looking at her... I knew it... I loved her more..."
