Great Tree Yggdrasil: Long ago, the branches of this tree covered the world, bestowing magical power and connecting all the stars in the sky. As time passed, the tree's power diminished until the Magical Age ended. What remained of those branches transformed into the Ley Line.

Great Triskellion: After the end of the Magical Age, the Nine Ancient Witches sealed their remaining power in the Arcturus Forest. This power is magic capable of changing the world, as it would bring back the great tree Yggdrasil. Currently, Akko and her friends have managed to break the seal.

The Ley Line: The Ley Line is a vast network of magical tunnels that function as portals across the world. The Ley Line hates salt. It exists in specific locations, although witches with great magical power or special objects can open portals anywhere.

Philosopher's Stone: These are large crystals that absorb energy from the Ley Line and distribute it in a specific area.

The Forbidden Forest of Arcturus: Once the great tree Yggdrasil weakened, the Arcturus Forest became a danger zone where all sorts of magical creatures hunted. Currently, the Arcturus Forest is teeming with life again after Akko and her friends broke the seal of the Great Triskelion.

A few years ago, a young woman named Chariot decided to use magic to bring joy to people around the world. Upon entering Luna Nova Academy, Chariot met Croix, a witch with vast magical knowledge and the best in her generation; the two became inseparable friends.

One day, they both encountered the "spirit of the blue moon," Woodward, who gave the Shiny Rod to Chariot, seeing in her a pure and kind heart. Croix was filled with envy; she should be the one to usher in a new magical era, not someone as clumsy as Chariot. The relationship between Chariot and Croix soured, though they didn't completely separate.

As time passed, Chariot became known as "Shiny Chariot" thanks to her shows around the world, even though witches saw her as defaming their public image. Everything continued peacefully for a year or two, but people lost interest in magic.

Chariot went to Croix to vent and seek solutions, and Croix proposed a new magical method. Although Chariot initially refused, this was the only way to rekindle people's interest in magic, so she agreed.

During her show in Japan, Chariot put the new method into practice. Among the audience were two girls: Akko and Diana. The show was a huge success, so she would replicate the same process in other shows. But people weren't impressed; they wanted to see more.

Thus it was that, in an ordinary show, the pressure would gain control over Chariot, turning the Shiny Rod into a giant bow that shot a large arrow towards the Moon, marking one of its faces with a four-pointed star and disintegrating the Shiny Rod in the process.

After the show's debacle, Chariot spoke with Croix, who revealed that the method involved stealing magic. Chariot felt betrayed by her friend, leading to an argument that permanently separated them. Chariot abandoned her name, adopting the name Ursula Callistis. "Shiny Chariot" disappeared from show business, never to return.

Somewhere in England, Diana Cavendish, the future head of the family, began practicing her magic. However, the theft of her magic during the Shiny Chariot show hampered her studies. Eventually, she succeeded after several years of practice. At the same time, Akko began practicing broomstick flying in her own way, failing repeatedly, but never giving up.

A decade had passed, and Akko enrolled at Luna Nova Academy, quickly becoming a chaotic scene. There, she experienced countless adventures with her friends Lotte and Sucy, especially on the first day when they got lost in the Forbidden Forest. It was there that Akko managed to materialize the Shiny Rod and become its new wielder.

It was at the academy that she met Diana, who initially acted arrogantly until she witnessed Akko's skill with the Shiny Rod. This piqued Diana's interest, though she wouldn't admit it.

At the annual Sanhain festival, Akko, Lotte, and Sucy managed to free a tormented spirit with a spectacular performance. This event transformed Diana's perception of Akko, shifting her view from a nuisance to a role model, a rival, and a small symbol of admiration.

Shortly after, Croix returned as a new teacher at the academy, but her true purpose was to obtain the Shiny Rod and be the one to change the world of magic. Following several conflicts and fights between Ursula, Croix, and Akko, Croix put her ultimate plan into action: a giant copy of the Shiny Rod powered by negative energy, hatred, and dark magic.

Croix would head towards the location of the Great Triskellion, but not before having one last confrontation with Ursula. Ursula would lose.

Upon arriving at the location, Croix tried to unleash the power of the Great Triskellion, but it would end up being Akko who, with the help of her friends [except Hannah and Barbara] and the original Shiny Rod, would break the seal.

However, Croix's replica gained sentience, quickly moving away and taking the form of a missile headed for a distant country to instill hatred in its people. Akko and her friends joined forces to stop the missile, with Akko and Diana, riding the Shooting Star and transforming the Shiny Rod into a giant bow, destroying it and saving the world.

Currently, Ursula and Croix have reconciled, the academy has returned to normal, and it seems that Akko is beginning to recover her magic.

Shiny Rod [Special Item]: The Shiny Rod is a magic wand of immense power that appears before a wielder with a pure heart and good intentions. It is capable of marking an entire face of the moon or transforming into various objects [bow, axe, claw, mixer, broom], possessing special abilities [physical regeneration], and transforming into the great Triskelion [one-time use]. Currently, the Shiny Rod has become part of the Ursa Major constellation, but it could reappear. The Shiny Rod is described as: Made of a bone-like material, divided into three sections, it has seven pearls distributed along the wand that resemble the Ursa Major constellation; its tip resembles a flattened, three-pointed golden crown.

Shooting Star [Special Item]: The Shooting Star is a legendary broomstick containing its own magical energy and consciousness, with a speed similar to that of a shooting star. It was once used by a witch to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. Its current whereabouts are unknown. The Shooting Star is described as: made of some kind of metal, red in color, with a large, triangular tip, white feathers at the end, and long, white wings at the end.

Brooms: Common brooms need the energy released by the Philosopher's Stone. They seem to have a certain degree of consciousness and fly thanks to the "Aunt Freyre" spell.

Wands: Common wands require the energy released by the Philosopher's Stone. They can be used for simple actions [turning off lights, making objects float, materializing objects, attacking, defending, etc.] or for more complex spells [elemental powers, rituals, etc.].

Crystal balls: As big as a basketball, these artifacts are capable of sending messages between witches and having an internet connection without the need for electricity or technology.
