Superhuman strength
They can lift enormous weights and cut down the Yoma with ease.

They temporarily increase their strength and speed by releasing their Yoma energy.
If they release too much, they risk waking up.

Important facts about Claymores
They are half human and half Yoma.
They all have silver eyes, which is why many people call them "Silver-Eyed Witches." When they unleash a large portion of their power, their eyes turn gold.

Each one has a unique symbol, which serves as her identity and appears on the collar of the uniform and on the sword.

They are ranked from No. 1 to No. 47, with No. 1 being the most powerful and No. 47 the lowest ranked.

They possess strength, speed, reflexes, and regenerative abilities far superior to those of a human.

They can detect the presence of Yoma and other Claymores through their energy.
If they unleash too much Yoma power, they risk becoming an Awakened Being and losing their humanity.

The Organization assigns them missions to protect humans from the Yoma.

In a world where monsters called Yoma feed on humans, an organization creates the Claymore, half-human, half-Yoma warriors tasked with hunting them down.
The protagonist, Clare, fights alongside Raki, a young man who decides to accompany her on her journey. Clare seeks to avenge the death of Teresa, the most powerful Claymore, who protected her as a child and was killed by Priscilla, a warrior who lost control of her power and became an Awakened Being.
During her adventure, Clare makes new allies, faces dangerous enemies, and gradually unleashes her own Yoma power, risking the loss of her humanity. At the end of the anime, she faces Priscilla again, but fails to defeat her definitively, leaving her story open for further struggle.
