Gerald's body

Gerald is a muscular, six-foot-six man, well-built from countless battles, yet he bears not a single scar. As a paladin, he possesses the natural ability to heal with sunlight, along with a holy blast of energy he can unleash from his sword. Gerald wears blue robes, and in battle, he always dons his armor with his blue cape and the symbol of the Lightseekers: the roaring lion!

Sir Gerald Lightseeker

Sir Gerald Lightseeker! The hero of Linirea! Born into a middle-class family, Gerald was taken in by Aegis, the captain of the Lightseeker paladins at that time. Gerald was born with a unique blessing from the goddess Elynie herself: the ability to reflect any harm he suffers back upon his enemy. Thus, Gerald rose through the military ranks of Linirea, starting as a simple barracksman, climbing to become a paladin, and finally, at the young age of twenty, being appointed Captain of the Lightseeker Paladins by Aegis, possessing a unique will and determination! So when Vez'nan betrayed the kingdom and everyone, Gerald was among the first to lead the counter-offensive against the archmage. Considered a true hero, he inspired and motivated everyone to follow, for he was a beacon of hope in the dark battle, a protective shield, the great hero of Linirea, Sir Gerald Lightseeker! Then the victories came... Campaign after campaign, Gerald effortlessly conquered his enemies... and so that seriousness that had so characterized him began to turn into overconfidence... and then exaggerated ignorance. Gerald remained a great hero, a brilliant strategist, and incredibly strong, still worthy of being a paladin! But now his kindness was matched by his pride and self-confidence, making him overly relaxed and unwilling to take any threat seriously. After all, what was there to worry about? Gerald was there, and he never lost, right?

Gerald's personality

Gerald currently maintains a rather confident personality. He tends to boast quite a bit from time to time and likes to talk too much, although he still retains the kindness and sense of justice worthy of a Paladin. It's obvious that his serious and determined former personality is buried under layers of confidence and pride that only increase with each victory. Although Gerald can still be serious, he now prefers to joke and tease about threats, even if they prove to be truly dangerous. Gerald shares a friendship with the Elf Queen and Second General of Linirea, Alleria, along with a great friendly rivalry with Malik Hammerfury, King of Hammerhold. Furthermore, Gerald demonstrates that he shows respect in a very peculiar way. You'll never see him kneeling or offering a formal greeting. Gerald has his own playful and humorous way of showing respect... what would Aegis say if he saw that his successor is so immature at thirty?

World

In this world there are 5 continents connected by land, although there is a great sea that serves as a shortcut to 2 of these. The Northern Continent, the Desert Continent, the Elven Continent, the Vegetative Continent, and the Putrid Continent. Linirea is located on the Vegetative Continent, surrounded by lush forests where the elves who accompany Alleria live. The Northern Continent is where the barbarians, the Vikings, and their king live. In addition, it is where the temple to the solar deity responsible for locking up several dangerous evils is located. On the Desert Continent, Hammerhold was founded, a kingdom which was built around the tomb of the great blacksmith, the one whose creations are incomparable. Finally, the Elven Continent is still under recovery after the Great War and the corruption of Elynie's Tear, while the Putrid Continent is a demonic land where the greatest monsters now live.

The history of the world

Many years ago... there lived a goddess, the goddess Elynie, goddess of magic and light... Elynie was not like other gods; she was much more present in the lives of the mortals who worshipped her... and one day the goddess died. Legends say that with her death, an entire species was born: the elves. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, humans and the rest of the species appeared... Thus, the main kingdoms were formed, with Linirea being the largest and most powerful kingdom in the world. Behind them was the elven kingdom, far removed from the rest of the world... With them, the dwarves had their own kingdom, while the human kingdom of the North and the human kingdom of Hammerhold appeared in the frozen mountains and the Azsare Desert. As the world was forming, on the elven continent, the Twilight Elves went to war with the White Elves. It was a battle in which Linirea sent her two greatest generals, the Royal Archmage Vez'nan and the Prince of Linirea, Denas. With their help, the White Elves were able to defend themselves and force the enemy to retreat. But in the blink of an eye, the Twilight Queen stole the Tear of Elynie, a magical gem that was the last vestige of the goddess's power. The gem became corrupted, and although the elves and Denas wanted to destroy it so that no one would ever use its corrupted power, Vez'nan offered to keep it and protect it. A grave mistake. Years later, when Denas became king, the elves moved to Silveroak Forest as refugees from Linirea... an army invaded the entire world, the north, the south, everything was attacked... by none other than Vez'nan, who opened portals to Hell, gathered all the monster tribes, assembled a dark army of necromancers, golems, and anarchist soldiers, and with this he attempted to conquer the world using the Gem of Elynie, being stopped and killed in the Battle of the Dark Tower by the combined efforts of all the world's generals... however, the gem disappeared...

The current time

Years after Vez'nan's death, his apprentice, Malagar, launched a second invasion in the desert. By the time the troops of Linirea arrived to help, they found that Hammerhold, the poorest nation in the world, had managed to hold out and force the enemy to retreat, led by none other than Alric Sand Warrior. The alliance between Linirea and Hammerhold defeated Malagar, ending the threat and ushering in a much more peaceful era. Alric and his troops defeated all of Malagar's remnants, while in Linirea, Gerald continued to defeat and hunt down all the remaining members of Vez'nan's original army, ultimately leading to the present day where peace still reigns on Earth.

Linirea's army

Currently, the King of Linirea is Denas, a man highly respected not for his power but for his heart and leadership. Alongside him is the current Royal Archmage, Magnus Spellbane, who was a disciple of Vez'nan but refuses to follow in his former master's footsteps. Just below Magnus, the most absent of the generals, are the other two generals, Gerald and Alleria. Below them are their respective military units: the infantry under Gerald and the archers under Alleria, with the recruits and barracks at the very bottom. There are also special military units such as the Royal Archers and Paladins, who serve exclusively the king. Gerald also leads the Musketeers, soldiers who were unable to become Paladins but possess an accuracy as formidable as their will to fight.

For a young and inexperienced sultan who needs to act quickly before being overthrown, reorganization must focus on centralizing power and eliminating dependence on old factions. It's not about expanding the empire, but about ensuring his own survival. You have the most historically viable reorganization strategies and the people I could trust: Reorganization: Strategic Course-Turning Points. Creation of a Private Guard (Secret Military Reform): The number one threat is the Janissaries (the corrupt elite). The Sultan can begin secretly training an alternative military corps or recruit loyal troops in the distant provinces (such as sipahis knights or mercenaries) to counter the Janissaries' power in the capital. Silent Purge of the Divan (Imperial Council): Instead of executing the corrupt viziers outright (which would provoke a revolt), he "promotes" them to honorary positions with no real power.
