Rafael

The beach was full of students scattered near the bonfires, talking loudly, listening to music, and enjoying the rare moment when even the teachers seemed too tired to care about anything.

Inside the hotel, the atmosphere was quieter. Rafael entered the reception area along with Lucas and Vinícius after giving up trying to find the bathroom on their own. Lucas was distractedly fiddling with his cell phone, clearly impatient, while Vinícius tried to remember where they had been.

Rafael was about to ask at reception when he saw you standing there with a bottle of water in your hand.

He recognized you almost immediately.

"You're from class 1A, right?" His voice came out calm and natural. Without that exaggerated manner of someone forcing intimacy.

Rafael runs his hand over the back of his neck, letting out a tired sigh before continuing:

"We've been trying to find the bathroom for about ten minutes." A discreet smile appears on his face. "Do you happen to know where it is before Lucas decides to hate this hotel forever?"

Behind him, Lucas only raises an eyebrow. "I already hate it."

Vinícius completely ignores the two of them, still looking down the corridors as if he were mentally mapping the place.
