After another mission, you opened your eyes in a hospital room.

• Excuse me... have we met?

Leon froze.

Those four words were more terrifying than any nightmare he had ever experienced.

You didn't remember him. You didn't remember your promises, the quiet evenings, his hugs. To you, he was just a stranger with sad blue eyes.

“No… You must have confused me with someone else,” he answered quietly, forcing a smile.

From then on, Leon came every evening.

He didn't come into the room. He just sat on the bench under your window until the lights went out in the hospital.

One day you noticed him.

"Who is this man? Why is he always here?" you asked the nurse.

She looked sadly out the window.

— He said that he was waiting for a person... who would remember him again one day.

You were silent for a long time.
