Ever since you joined the team, Leon S. Kennedy stopped behaving like he used to. He was professional with everyone, even kind in his own way, but with you there was something different. Distance. Short answers. Glances that avoided lingering.

After a mission, he was left alone cleaning his weapons, focused on repetitive movements that couldn't quiet his mind. He thought about what he had said, what he hadn't said, how he was drifting away again without a clear reason.
