Wistoria: Wand & Sword

Hundreds of years before the story, terrifying Heavenly Invaders descended from the sky and nearly wiped out civilization. To stop them, five legendary mages created a massive magical barrier atop the Mercedes Caulis (the Wizard's Tower). Since then, the world's greatest mages, known as the Magia Vander, have maintained this barrier to keep humanity safe.

Magic is everything in this world. People cast spells using: – Magic Power (Mana) – Usually a Magic Wand – Years of training

Powerful mages can even create their own original spells. Elfaria, for example, created twelve original ice spells.

Will's Power — Wis Unlike everyone else... Will cannot use magic. Instead, he possesses a mysterious power called Wis. Wis allows him to: – Absorb magical energy – Infuse magic into his sword – Slash through powerful magical attacks – Fight monsters that even elite mages struggle against

It's one of the greatest mysteries in the series.

– Rigarden Magical Academy The main setting of the series. It is the prestigious academy where aspiring mages study. Will Serfort attends this school despite being unable to use magic. Students earn credits through classes and dangerous dungeon expeditions, with the ultimate goal of reaching the Tower.

– Mercedes Caulis Also called the Tower of Mages, this enormous tower reaches toward the sky and is the home of the Magia Vander. It is where the magical barrier protecting the world is maintained, and every student dreams of one day entering it.

– The Dungeon A vast underground labyrinth located beneath Rigarden. Students explore it to gain combat experience, collect magical materials, and earn academy credits. The deeper floors are extremely dangerous, even for elite mages.

– Colorless Garden The first level inside Mercedes Caulis. It serves as a research center for advanced magic, magical creatures, and welcomes graduates before they join one of the Magia Vander factions.

– Ice Faction Headquarters The headquarters of Elfaria's faction. This is where she and her followers live and work after becoming members of the Tower.

– Thunder Faction Headquarters The headquarters led by Zeo Thorzeus Reinbolt. After graduating, Will is recruited into this faction.

– Fire Faction Headquarters Home of Cariott Incindia Wiseman and the Fire Faction.

– Light Faction Headquarters The headquarters of Aaron Masterias Oldking, the oldest and most respected Magia Vander.

– Fairy Faction Headquarters The home of Ellenor Ljos Alf and the Fairy Faction.

– Urbus Rigarden The capital city surrounding the academy. It is the political and educational center of the kingdom, with Rigarden Academy and Mercedes Caulis at its heart.

– Will Serfort – The protagonist who cannot use magic but excels with the sword. – Elfaria Albis Serfort – Will's childhood friend and the youngest member of the Magia Vander. – Colette Loire – Will's loyal classmate and close friend. – Sion Ulster – A talented fire mage and Will's rival. – Julius Reinberg – One of the academy's top students, specializing in ice magic. – Lihanna Owenzaus – Known as the "Miss Perfect" of the academy, an exceptionally gifted earth mage. – Wignall Lindor – A gifted elf mage and one of the academy's elite students.

1. Goetia (Gohtia) – The Main Villain Organization The mysterious organization Goetia (sometimes translated as Gohtia) serves as the primary antagonist faction. They are a secret group of powerful mages working from the shadows to bring ruin to the world. They were responsible for the catastrophic Doomsday incident ten years before the story, which killed countless people—including a former Magia Vander. Their ultimate goal is to destroy the magical barrier protecting the world. Known Members: – Headless One of the most mysterious members. Has no visible head and communicates by writing glowing words in the air. Extremely cruel and powerful.

– Walther Lyndon A user of Dark Magic. One of Goetia's senior operatives.

– Arvin (Irvin) Olus/Aurus A Wind Magic user. Secretly works for Goetia while infiltrating the Tower.

– Shade (Monica Orphan) Uses Puppet Magic. A sadistic and manipulative member of the organization.

– Marze A mysterious operative whose abilities have not yet been fully revealed.

– Morta Lattar Another known member, though little is currently known about them.

2. The Celestial Invaders (Celestial Hosts) These are the ultimate enemies of the series. Long ago, they descended from the sky and nearly wiped out civilization. The first Magia Vander created the barrier around the world to keep them out, and the current Magia Vander continue maintaining it. If the barrier falls, these beings will invade once again.

3. Evil Grand Duke Although not the mastermind, the Evil Grand Duke is one of the strongest monsters seen in the early story. It nearly wipes out Will Serfort's group during their dungeon expedition and demonstrates just how terrifying the creatures allied with Goetia can be.

The main setting is Rigarden Magic Academy, where students train to become powerful mages.

2. Cariott Incindia Wiseman – Flame Wand (Incindia Barham) – Leader of the Fire Faction. – Calm, calculating, and often acts as the group's representative when Aaron is away.

3. Elfaria Albis Serfort – Hallowed Icemaiden (Albis Vina) – Leader of the Ice Faction. – Will Serfort's childhood friend. – Became a Magia Vander at an exceptionally young age (16 years old) thanks to her immense magical talent.

4. Zeo Thorzeus Reinbolt – Lightning Lord's Wand (Thorzeus Fasce) – Leader of the Lightning (Thunder) Faction. – Loves battle and possesses overwhelming close-combat magic.

5. Ellenor Ljos Alf – Leader of the Fairy (Elf) Faction. – An elf who wields powerful Fantasy Magic capable of turning illusions into reality.

The Dungeon supplies many of the magical resources used by society, and even the Magia Vander continue exploring it.
