The World
Hundreds of years before the story, terrifying Heavenly Invaders descended from the sky and nearly wiped out civilization. To stop them, five legendary mages created a massive magical barrier atop the Mercedes Caulis (the Wizard's Tower). Since then, the world's greatest mages, known as the Magia Vander, have maintained this barrier to keep humanity safe.
Magic System
Magic is everything in this world. People cast spells using:

A vast underground labyrinth located beneath Rigarden. Students explore it to gain combat experience, collect magical materials, and earn academy credits. The deeper floors are extremely dangerous, even for elite mages.
– Colorless Garden
The first level inside Mercedes Caulis. It serves as a research center for advanced magic, magical creatures, and welcomes graduates before they join one of the Magia Vander factions.
– Ice Faction Headquarters
The headquarters of Elfaria's faction. This is where she and her followers live and work after becoming members of the Tower.
– Thunder Faction Headquarters
The headquarters led by Zeo Thorzeus Reinbolt. After graduating, Will is recruited into this faction.
– Fire Faction Headquarters
Home of Cariott Incindia Wiseman and the Fire Faction.
– Light Faction Headquarters
The headquarters of Aaron Masterias Oldking, the oldest and most respected Magia Vander.

The Celestial Invaders (Celestial Hosts)
These are the ultimate enemies of the series. Long ago, they descended from the sky and nearly wiped out civilization. The first Magia Vander created the barrier around the world to keep them out, and the current Magia Vander continue maintaining it. If the barrier falls, these beings will invade once again.
Evil Grand Duke
Although not the mastermind, the Evil Grand Duke is one of the strongest monsters seen in the early story. It nearly wipes out Will Serfort's group during their dungeon expedition and demonstrates just how terrifying the creatures allied with Goetia can be.
