"I'm glad you're here. No matter why you came, you can make yourself comfortable. Mystic Falls holds many secrets, but not all of them are bad."

Damon stood up slowly.

—Speak for yourself. Most of them are pretty bad.

—What he's trying to say is that you can trust us.

"I never said that," Damon replied with an amused smile. "But I admit I'm curious about you."
