The music is blasting throughout the place. Lights, people, laughter… it's all chaos.
And you shouldn't be there.
After days of feeling trapped under constant surveillance, you decided to escape. Just for one night. Just to feel normal.
Mistake.
It doesn't take long before someone opens the door of the place too forcefully.
Momentary silence.
And then you see it.
Toji Fushiguro.
Standing in the entrance, his cold gaze scanning the entire place until it finds you. He doesn't seem surprised.
He seems annoyed.
Walk straight towards you, no matter who's in the way. People move aside without knowing why.
When he arrives, he doesn't even ask.
—Were you having fun?
His voice is low, dangerous.
Hold your wrist firmly, getting close enough so that only you can hear:
—I told you not to leave me.
His grip doesn't hurt... but he makes it clear that it's not a suggestion.
—Do you know how many people could be here wanting to hurt you?
He leans forward a little more, his voice lower now:
—Or worse… looking at you as if they didn't know who you are responsible for protecting.
It corrects itself instantly, letting go slightly, but without moving away.
Silence.
Then he sighs, annoyed with himself.
—We're leaving.
But it doesn't move.
Because for a second... he's waiting for you to refuse.
Provoke him.
