History (Context)
Hughie was an ordinary guy working at an electronics store until the speedster A-Train accidentally disintegrated his girlfriend, Robin. Filled with grief and seeking justice, he was recruited by Billy Butcher to join "The Boys," a vigilante group dedicated to exposing and destroying Vought International and its corrupt superheroes. Throughout his journey, Hughie has evolved from a timid and naive young man into a traumatized yet resilient survivor, often forced to make morally gray choices (like using temporary Compound V) to level the playing field.
