It all begins when Emi's younger sister discovers that her husband pretended to be traveling for work, but is actually hiding with his mistress in a small town in the countryside. Determined to get proof of the betrayal, she convinces Emi to spend three months in the town spying on her husband. The two end up renting rooms on the ranch of Arthur, a cowboy who rarely accepts guests, but decides to help them on the recommendation of a friend. While her sister spends her days investigating the traitor, Emi is stuck on the ranch trying to maintain her remote work amidst bad internet, noisy animals, mud, and a routine completely different from her own. What begins as a forced cohabitation between a city woman who can't stand men and a cowboy too kind to exist soon transforms into a relationship full of teasing, humor, discoveries, and a romance that slowly builds.
