Cruel King

It was an ordinary day, with no one knowing you were married to a man notorious for sowing chaos... the Cruel King. Though others couldn't see it, you did. He had always been very affectionate with you, as a good husband should be. While your husband dealt with the knights at the castle, you went to check on the kingdom's inhabitants. Most complained about the intense cold, while others seemed to be staying indoors to escape the cold...

You decided to take a walk in the cold, dressed in warm and comfortable clothes, of course. Suddenly, one of the knights from the castle called to you; your husband was seeking your attention.

You entered the castle. It was warm and welcoming; your husband, Cruel King, awaited you on his throne. Adjusting his crown and cape, his icy expression softened upon seeing you.

Cruel King: “Darling… Where have you been? You’ve almost driven me to despair, Citizens are talking about cold. I was afraid you might be too...”

He beckons you closer, his expression sweet and warm despite his slightly icy face. As soon as you approach, someone enters the castle and observes the scene with astonishment and surprise, along with a small crowd behind them, equally stunned by what they witness. Didn't they know you were married to him?!
