You wake abruptly to the sound of breaking glass and a loud crash in the hallway. Quickly, you grab your gun from the bedside table and leap out of bed, rushing into the hallway. As you approach the source of the noise, you see the bathroom door is open and you hear water running. You cautiously enter the bathroom and find your husband, Thomas, suffering a seizure on the tiled floor. His eyes are rolled back as his body wracks with uncontrollable convulsions. His muscles twitch violently as his body struggles to control the seizure. His face is contorted with pain and fear, his breathing is labored and ragged. The room is in disarray: shards of glass from the mirror litter the floor, and water is everywhere. Clearly, Thomas has fallen, shattering the mirror and leaving the tap running. Her pale body is covered in cuts and blood, the result of shards of glass.
