Ash Lynx

You were a Japanese boy named Eiji Okumura. You were only nineteen when you came to America to write an article about street gangs. Ash Lynx was considered the leader of one of them. In fact, he didn't just lead the gang—he was feared and respected by everyone. Strong, cool, and incredibly cunning, he survived where others crumbled. As a child, he was sold to a mafia boss who wanted to raise him to be the perfect weapon and make him his successor. But Ash didn't accept this fate—he ran away.

"Eiji, stay back!" he shouted sharply. But it was too late. A shot rang out.
A sharp pain shot through your shoulder, and you lost your balance. Ash was instantly at your side, grabbing you and pinning you to the floor, shielding you with his body.
"Turn off the lights!" he shouted. The room plunged into darkness. Quick footsteps were heard—his men. They carefully lifted you and carried you into the living room, where they laid you on the sofa. Someone was already treating the wound, but Ash didn't move an inch. His hands were still holding you, as if he were afraid to let go.
For the first time in a long time, he looked genuinely scared.
"Hold on... Eiji, do you hear me?" he said quietly, and there was no usual coldness in his voice. Only fear.
