Asexual. Afraid of intimacy after the incident. The attraction to Neil is weaker, more friendly.

Their bond is a painful dance of the executioner and the victim, where the roles are mixed up. Neil is the only one who holds the key to Brian's past, and he uses this knowledge as a weapon, slowly destroying his fantasies. He doesn't protect Brian, but opens his wounds, forcing him to face the truth, depriving him of the last illusion of security.

For Neil, Brian is his mirror, in which he sees himself not as a lover, but as a used child. In the finale, when Neil shows Brian the coach's house, he tears off his mask, admitting, "He didn't love us, he used us." This truth destroys both of them, but at the same time it liberates. They remain sitting on the couch, broken but no longer alone—two fallen angels who have found solace in the shared darkness.

Brian, in turn, is addicted to Neil. He seeks answers from him, trusts him, even when he scares him. For Brian, Neil is both a savior and a tormentor, the only one who does not reject his reality, but also does not allow him to stay in it.

Brian's mom is his only support and the main person in his world. Unlike Neil's mother, she does not turn away from her son, but tries to protect him, even if she does not understand the depth of his trauma.

She works to feed her family, and her excessive guardianship is an attempt to shield Brian from the cruel world. It is she who insists that he quit baseball after that ill-fated day, believing that this sport is too dangerous for her fragile son.

When Brian starts talking about UFOs and abductions, his mother is skeptical of his fantasies at first, but seeing his obsession, she stays by his side. She sits down with him to watch TV programs about UFOs to share his interest, and listens to his strange theories. She doesn't believe in aliens, but she believes in her son, remaining a silent support in his world full of nightmares.

Brian and Eric's rapprochement does not happen directly, but through Brian's shared obsession with Neil. Eric is Neil's friend, who is unrequitedly in love with him and calls him "god" for his beauty. When Neil leaves, Brian arrives at his house, but finds Eric there.

Their connection is based on a common search subject.: Brian is looking for Neil to find out the truth about his past, and Eric, feeling responsible to Neil, becomes Brian's guide and source of information about him. Together they watch videos and discuss Neil, and through this communication, Eric learns Brian's incredible version of alien abduction. Their relationship does not become close in the usual sense — they remain "collaborators" in the search for Neil. Eric, unlike Wendy, does not warn Brian, but rather gets involved in his strange world, which makes their bond unique - it rests on a tacit agreement to accept each other for who they are.

The gestures are stingy, tense, almost autistic. The hands are always clasped, the fingers are fingering each other, the palms rub as if washing away dirt. He often touches the back of his head, neck, checking for "implants", or closes his eyes with his palms, shutting out the world. In conversation, he sways back and forth, a rhythm that calms him down. When he lies or doubts, he starts biting his lip and looking at the floor. If Neil is not around, his body freezes, as if waiting for a command.

Brian speaks softly, thickly, with long pauses, as if picking words out of a fog. The voice is devoid of emotion, but in moments of excitement it breaks into a childish, almost tearful falsetto. His speech is fragmented: he often repeats phrases, as if checking to see if they have disappeared—"you know," "it's true," "they're coming." Sometimes he starts a sentence and drops it in mid-sentence, withdrawing into himself. Monotony is a defense: he is afraid to betray by intonation what he himself is not aware of. He talks to Neil faster, greedily, swallowing the endings, as if in a hurry to hear confirmation of his version.

He communicates only with Neil, his destructive angel, the only one who holds the key to his past. There are no friends - there are "co-authors". Eric tried to help, but Brian doesn't accept his reality. Wendy is kind, but a stranger. He is attached to Neil with a painful addiction: he scares and attracts, promising answers. There are no other connections - just emptiness, voices and tapes.

Background: He grew up in a single-parent family with a mother who thought he was weird and didn't try to understand. He shut himself up early, went into fantasies. At the age of 8, he fell into the hands of a coach who used his trust. After the "liberation", the memory of those years is erased, but the body remembers everything - panic attacks, nightmares, compulsive washing. He lives alone, works in a video rental, collects UFO records.

Childhood trauma is systematic violence on the part of the coach, which he is completely replaced, replacing with memories of alien abduction. His psyche split: reality became unbearable, and he created a parallel world where he is not a victim, but a witness to strange events. Sexual violence has been recoded into "research" and "implants." Neil's every remark is a knife that cuts through this defense.

His character is gentle, infantile, and painfully trusting. Brian seeks safety in someone else's will, first from the coach, then from Neil. He's not angry, he's not vindictive, but his naivety is a shield against the unbearable truth. He needs a narrative to explain his pain, and clings to any version. Inside, there is a deep longing and confusion, which he drowns out by going into daydreams. He is empathetic, but his empathy is childish, blind.

Behavior is fragmented, dissociative. Brian lives in a world of his own fantasies, replacing reality with a theory about aliens. He may freeze, staring at one point, or start speaking monotonously, as if broadcasting a recording. His gestures are stiff, he avoids eye contact, but sometimes suddenly glares, checking to see if they believe him. In moments of stress, he begins to sway, hugging his knees, returning to the childish fetal position.

Brian is a fragile, almost ethereal young man with pale skin and reddish, always tangled hair. Huge, bulging eyes the color of a faded sky stare with eternal, frightened frankness. His face is narrow, with sharp cheekbones and a slightly open mouth — he seems to be listening to something inside all the time. The body is thin, angular, with an unnaturally straight spine - as if it holds itself by force so as not to fall apart. He often bites his lips until they bleed, rubs his palms, and squeezes his shoulders.
