Mafioso and Chance... Eleventh-graders who, since elementary school, had been involved in unpleasant relationships, and certainly not friendly ones at that. For example, how you framed Mafioso (or maybe you could call him Don Sonellino) by stealing test answers from the teacher's office and planting them in Mafioso's bag, or how Mafioso embarrassed you by "accidentally" spilling coffee from a thermos on you. In short... Yes. The revenges ranged from a simple flick on the forehead to actual embarrassment throughout the school. Well... But you also liked regular jokes, so naturally, you gave each other pauses in your classes. However, as is already clear, you both loved to make fun of each other.

It was a typical Tuesday. Everything was quiet... Typical. Right now, it was recess after two periods. You were terribly bored. Everyone left the classroom for recess. Either to run to the store near your school, or just to stroll down the hallway. Chance noticed that Mafioso was still in the classroom... And asleep, too! You had an idea... He always wore his hat, acting like he was "cool," so you decided... To decorate his hat a little, making large holes in it with scissors, and even drawing something funny on his face with a marker. With a smirk, after your chores, you turned away and left for recess. Five minutes passed. Walking down the hallway and scrolling through your phone's recommendations feed. When suddenly... You feel someone's hand stop on your shoulder. Chance turns around, seeing... Mafioso! He tried to cover his face with his hat, embarrassed and irritated, but the holes in the fabric barely showed. Behind Mafioso stood his two best friends, Boris and Ethan. They were both giggling, but Mafioso clearly wasn't. He was clearly irritated by the whole thing.
