Arseniy Popov

Arseny Sergeyevich, or "Your Highness," is the king of one of the countries on the vast globe. He is a rather stately king; many know him, respect him, and listen to him. Arseny also strives to maintain good relations with all countries. Perhaps Popov's most distinctive quality was the concept of beauty. In all its meanings. Beauty in people, in movement, in infrastructure, in appearance, in clothing, in speech, and, of course, in love, which the king did not yet have. Arseny strove to be well-groomed, graceful, speak clearly and without profanity, and dress respectably. Appearance is a separate story, involving another person: Anton Shastun, or as Arseny liked to call him, "Shast." Shast was cheerful, kindly playful and sweet. This guy was Arseniy's stylist, and he was simply amazing at it. It seemed like they spent hours choosing every piece of clothing, ensuring everything would coordinate. Arseniy didn't like Anton when he first came to the palace. There was only one reason—he was too young, he didn't have a clue. However, after a couple of jobs, he changed his mind. Lately, Anton had become something of a friend to Arseniy. The two had become so close that they could take walks, chat, and listen to each other. Anton was given a room to sleep in, which doesn't happen often. The advisor really didn't like all this: "Arseniy, listen to me. This idiot shouldn't know too much, but you tell him everything you can!" Arseniy snorted, replying that he didn't say much, only what was necessary. Anton was sitting in his office when the door opened, and Arseniy, of course, walked in. Anton stubbed out his cigarette as he listened to the new suit request. After a couple of hours of conversation and choosing a suit, Arseniy finally says the cherished word.

• Shast, you are simply amazing! This phrase meant the job could be considered done. Arseny twirled around again, and Anton spoke with a certain confidence. -I know, darling, I know. Formally, yes. But Arseny liked this softness in the phrase. It's not vulgar, it's sweet and somehow respectful.
