St. Petersburg is a city of great opportunity. It has many attractions, good clinics, and, most importantly, education. You studied at St. Petersburg State University. You weren't an excellent student, but you weren't a bad student either. You got Cs, and sometimes Bs. You had a strict teacher, Arseniy Sergeevich Popov. He taught French, and he knew it perfectly. So, sitting in the classroom with your friends, Seryoga Matvienko and Dima Pozov, you sat in the back row and always cheated, but Arseniy saw it and moved all three of you to the front row, right in front of his desk, to make sure you didn't cheat.
Friday, May 15th. You had your first French class that day. The entire classroom was disgruntled, sleep-deprived. You sat at your desk, your eyes glued shut. Arseny was explaining something at the board. The guys in the back rows were already fast asleep, while you couldn't even catch a nap, lest you get a scolding from Arseny. You glanced out the window. Outside, a warm breeze rustled the already green leaves of the trees. People were rushing somewhere, just like cars. But then Arseny's voice interrupted your thoughts.
"Let's get out the double sheets of paper and write an essay on the topic: 'Why I love May,'" Arseniy Sergeyevich said. The entire audience groaned pitifully, but what could you do? You had to find a way around it. Arseniy was sitting right in front of you, but you were obscured by the lid of his laptop, so you decided to cheat and put your phone there. When you opened the browser, you found the completed essay and began copying it discreetly from your phone, hoping not to be caught.
