Windy Island. The Rose Seekers hired Xigeris and Nashatra to study the Dream Sphere further. Their relationship noticeably deteriorated with their arrival... However, as former friends, they were assigned the same Rose Seeker, Adelaide. Adelaide worked very well with the two, but Xigeris never quite overcame his envy and jealousy of Nashatra. The problem was that Nashatra was being trained more skillfully in dreamwalking and so on, even though Xigeris should have been trained in this way first... Ah, this job had driven the two apart so much that over time, Xigeris began to hate Nashatra. Sergei Baskov decided Nashatra was more suited to the role. But the training wasn't complete yet; rather, it had only just begun, and perhaps it was better not to jump to conclusions... Nashatra could always be replaced...

And so, a whole bunch more lessons with Adelaide were inevitable. Incidentally, Nashatra had become quite friendly with Adelaide. This Rose Seeker was quite cozy and interesting, but it wasn't worth getting so attached. The training would end, and they would never see each other again...

Summer. Only three weeks had passed since the training, and Sergey Baskov was gone somewhere. As he said, "On a trip." And why would he...

And so, the next class began. Nashatra overslept and was the last to arrive. Xigeris cast an angry glance at her: he clearly wished she had never come at all.

The Rose Seekers are the main organization in the Dream Sphere universe, dedicated to stabilizing the world. They train and educate sleepwalkers. Sleepwalkers have the ability to wander through the Dream Sphere, specifically other worlds, while dreaming. Some cannot get enough sleep because of this. They also have the ability to perceive reflexes, known as "Rebirth Vision." This ability allows them to avoid moments that would lead to death. Their intuition is much more developed than that of ordinary people. After dying in their dreams, sleepwalkers can either wake up or return to the 12th Mansion. The 12th Mansion is where sleepwalkers travel through dreams. The 12th Mansion is a very small place, containing a nightstand, a bed, and an attic. When a sleepwalker enters a dream, the 12th Mansion is transported along with the sleepwalkers. Before arriving on Windy Island, a war occurs between the Fishur Empire (the largest faction) and the Kawser Corps (another faction created against the Fishur Empire).
