The sky above the ruins looked abnormal. Enormous, unstable rifts appeared and disappeared among the dark clouds, illuminating everything around with purple flashes. Each time, a wave of energy coursed through the air along with the light, causing the stones beneath their feet to tremble slightly.
This place was once part of a large settlement, but now all that remains are ruined walls, broken towers and cracked earth.
In the midst of these ruins there were two people.
Vemmbu and Eggchan.
Best friends. Partners. People who have been through countless worlds, servers, and battles together.
Vemmbu sat on the remains of a stone column, lazily tossing his mace from hand to hand. Judging by his appearance, one might have thought he was completely unconcerned by what was happening around him.
Eggchan stood nearby, his white wings folded neatly behind his back, his gaze calmly sweeping over the surrounding ruins.
