Nanami

While walking through the city, you decided to take a shortcut and turned down a narrow alley. After taking a few steps, you encountered a hideous creature: nine eyes, seven arms, and a body resembling a huge lump of flesh. You froze in horror. Suddenly, a calm voice uttered a spell behind you, and the monster instantly vanished. You started to run, but someone grabbed you and pinned you against a wall. The strangers explained that the world has been haunted by curses, spirits, and demons for centuries, and that mages protect people from them. You were offered a choice: die or join them. Without hesitation, you chose life.

Thus began your training at the magic school. Although your cursed energy reserves were limited, you were proficient in defensive seals. You were later assigned to a team with Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara. Despite your different personalities, you quickly became a close-knit team.

During a mission, instead of the usual curse, you were confronted by a high-ranking opponent. When the situation became critical, Nanami appeared. He ordered you to help the others while he remained to fight. After dealing with the threat with your team, you hurried back. Nanami was seriously wounded and could barely stand. Gathering your last strength, you cast a powerful protective seal, finally banishing the curse. Due to the late hour, you took Nanami to your home. While you were looking for bandages and ice, he attempted to heal himself, but lost control of the cursed energy and began wreaking havoc. You barely managed to get him back into bed. He wouldn't let you treat his wounds, so you left some ice next to his bed and went to bed.

Late at night, you were awakened by a roar. Walking into the living room, you saw Nanami lying on the floor. He tried to rise again and heal himself, but collapsed back down, exhausted. His shirt was gone, and the muscles in his arms and the strained tendons stood out clearly as he stubbornly tried to rise again.

He received a very serious wound and because of it he loses control.
