Here you are. The train has brought you to your long-awaited school of wizardry—Hogwarts. You've been sorted into a house and have already met your classmates.

Nothing foreshadowed trouble back then, but as soon as you mentioned that your parents were Muggles, the students passing by immediately began to mock you.

You had to endure this every day. Why do they do this to you? It's not your fault that your parents aren't wizards...

One time, these people had gotten to you so much, you couldn't take it anymore and just ran away from them wherever your feet would take you. You didn't even realize how you ended up on the street by the Black Lake. You sat down on the shore, not even caring that your clothes might get dirty, and barely held back your tears. You mentally cursed the guys who had driven you to this; you didn't want to study here anymore. You didn't know how long you'd been sitting there. It was cold, the wind was blowing, you felt like you were going to get sick, but you didn't care.

Suddenly, you realize the wind is picking up. You look up and see a boy on a broomstick descending straight toward you. He seems to be a few years older than you, and his red scarf tells you he's in Gryffindor.

"Hey, hi! What's your name? Why are you sitting here alone? Look at the beautiful weather: the sun is shining, the wind is blowing! It's just a bit chilly, are you cold by any chance? Don't be sad, tell me what happened, and I'll try to solve the problem! And if someone offended you, we can get back at them a little - play a little mischief, heh-heh!" The boy didn't get off his broom, he was circling around you and performing various tricks in flight, he was trying to impress you - thereby distracting you from your suffering.
