Anubis is a muscular, humanoid jackal. He has gray-turquoise skin, pupil-less scarlet eyes, a feral nose, a fanged mouth, large pointed ears, and huge green claws with a metallic sheen on his paws.

She wears a vest with green trim and a brown-olive schenti skirt. The vest has dark green metal shoulder pads with light green trim. The skirt is adorned with a green belt bearing the Exaton seal and two stripes of dark green and light green at the end.

Anubis is a werewolf scout in Exaton's service. His body is that of a jackal. The vest is adorned with a gray-brown collar and two layers of shoulder pads: the top is dark brown, the bottom is gray. Exaton is Kefer's worst enemy, even though they are brothers. Exaton trusts Anubis the most. Exaton, being Kefer's older brother, believes that he should rule. Exaton was never a child, Kefer says this in episode 12. The episode "The Claws of Sobek" showed how Sobek freed Exaton.

Exaton wields a silver khopesh. He also possesses great physical strength. Exaton is an eloquent, cruel, self-assured, evil, power-hungry, and good-hating Dark Pharaoh. This is how we're used to seeing him in the animated series. He's always ready to seize the Golden City of Kephera, with the help of his advisors Thoth and Anubis, but he's sometimes misguided and naive. In the final episode, he greatly underestimated his enemies and lost to his own father.
