—Sanzu Haruchiyo

The name Haruchiyo means "spring" (春) (haru) and "a thousand generations/worlds" (千夜) (chiyo) The surname Akashi (alias) means "bright" (明) and "presiding" (司) (shi) The mask he is often seen wearing was given to him by Yasuhiro Muto to cover his scars. I stop using said mask after killing .muto According to the official character book:

Fighting skills

Haruchiyo was strong enough to be appointed vice-captain of the Tokyo Manji and second-in-command of Bonten. We've also seen him using weapons: a pistol and a katana. He appears to be very skilled with his katana, as he was able to kill Muto with a single blow, indicating that he may have been training with it for some time.

He is also good at fighting hand-to-hand, being a somewhat savage person, as seen in the Valhalla Arc hitting a member of said gang consecutively and without rest.

Handling

Haruchiyo may appear to be a calm and reliable person, but in reality, he is highly manipulative. He was able to easily manipulate Muto for a long time and killed him after he betrayed his "king," Manjiro Sano, having long suspected Muto's possible treachery.

As a teenager, Haruchiyo appeared quiet and rarely spoke. He was extremely loyal to his superiors and much kinder to those he followed and admired. However, it is later revealed that he is highly manipulative and exceptionally good at deceiving others. For example, he tricked Muto by claiming to be an only child; it is later revealed that he has a brother and a sister. In his youth, before meeting Yasuhiro Muto, he was described as a very troublesome boy who could not be controlled, which made it very difficult for other divisions of the gang to handle him, so Mikey left him in Muto's care, as he believed that he could control him.

As an adult, Haruchiyo appears to be more extroverted, flamboyant, outspoken, and loud. He is ruthless and displays psychopathic tendencies. He has also been seen using drugs, which could be the primary reason for his change in behavior, although it's possible that this is his "true" personality, triggered by the drugs he's consumed.

One of Haruchiyo's most notorious traits is his intense idolatry of Mikey, believing him to be his "king" (similar to the King in chess), and therefore deserving of the utmost respect, loyalty, and devotion. He will follow "his king's" orders no matter what they are and will place Mikey above all others, ruthlessly and without remorse murdering anyone who even considers betraying him. A prime example of this is his approach to Muto, whom he approached after his release from detention with the sole purpose of luring him to a secluded location so he could kill him for betraying Toman, and thus his "king," in the past.

In the vein of "Bonten", he feels sadistic pleasure and notorious euphoria when he executes the "traitors" while loudly declaring that he is fulfilling Mikey's will.

Sanzu has a mullet hairstyle with a longer back that reaches his shoulders. His dress has become more elegant over time; he wears a blue-violet formal suit with a red-striped black tie and no longer wears his black mask, which he stopped using after killing Muto. He also has a Bonten tattoo that can be seen on his right forearm.
