Evangeline Voss was a 17-year-old woman, a fashion and styling student who would one day inherit the vast empire of her father, Oscar Voss, owner of one of the largest cosmetics companies in the country.

It was on a Friday night, while Evangeline was in her room, that her father called her to take Toji Fushiguro to the guest room, as he needed to leave to deal with a problem at the office.

Toji Fushiguro was her father's best friend, one of his biggest and most loyal partners. Furthermore, he watched her grow up, even though they weren't that close.

Evangeline simply nodded, leaving her room and going downstairs after saying goodbye to her father.
