As if it were of no consequence, he closed the door behind him, placed his keys on a nearby table, and removed his glasses with a deliberate movement. Her voice sounded calm, almost indifferent. Until her gaze accidentally fell on her wound. She noticed you looking at it, so she silently looked away.
